SALVADOR ÁBALOS NAMED NEW DIRECTOR OF THE BLUEBAY BANÚS HOTEL

Salvador Ábalos has been appointed new Director of the BlueBay Banus hotel. Born in Priego de Cordoba, he has nearly 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He began his professional career in the Hoteles Globales (Global Hotels) chain where he worked for 25 years in various positions, the last ten years as Manager.
In 2000, he was hired by Mac-Hotels chain to run a 4 * in Fuerteventura, a position he held until, 3 years later, he began working as Manager of Hotel Altamarena **** of Lopesan Hotels & Resorts.
In 2004, he was appointed Director General at Zerca Hoteles chain, combining his duties with those of Secretary of the Association of Rural Hotels of Andalusia and President of the Association of Centers for Tourism Initiatives in Cordoba, among other involvements in tourism associations.
Grupo BlueBay is currently in a time of great international expansion, with the imminent opening of new facilities in Europe, Spain, the Caribbean and Middle East.
