The Festival will take place between 23 and 25 September in Puntilla del Malecón.
At a press conference held on the15th this month at the BlueBay Villas Doradas Hotel, the hotel manager, José Vaquer, along with Mr. Angel Duvergé, Brugal promotion manager, national business director in Brugal, Jorge Torres, and Frank Cabrera from the Ministry of Tourism, announced the celebration of the traditional Puerto Plata Merengue Festival 2011.
