BlueBay Hotels, the ninth largest hotel company with international presence and the tenth largest Spanish hotel company based on number of rooms , strengthens its Senior Management team in order to secure its 2017-2020 strategic growth plan. Just as BlueBay Hotels announced in September, the group has inducted José Antonio Granja as General Manager of Operations, to coordinate all the operations departments world-wide and the expansión of the different brands and products of BlueBay Hotels. The second person taken into the fold is Daniel Ceballos, Marketing Director of the Americas, who will lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team focused on holiday as well as urban products, on family-type hotels as well as adults only hotels, and a strategy based on revenue and on the growth of all the brands under BlueBay Hotels.
“The growth in the fields into which these two professionals have joined is key to the achievement of the objectives of the 2017-2020 growth plan which we announced in 2016”, affirms Jamal Satli Iglesias, President of BlueBay Hotels. The President of the Spanish hotel group concludes saying, “Our group visión, the cooperation of the teams, and the identification of new targets will be fundamental for BlueBay Hotels to maintain the growth rate that we have proposed.”
José Antonio Granja will be the General Manager of Operations and a member of the Board of Directors of BlueBay Hotels. A native of Madrid, but a Mallorca resident for decades, he is fluent in five languages (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish), and has degrees in Business Management and Administration. He held executive positions for over 20 years at Iberostar, leading operations teams in Latin America as well as in Europe and North Africa. These last few years, he was General Manager of the Batle Group.
Daniel Ceballos is the new Marketing Director for the Americas. He has a degree in Business Management in Tourism, and has also trained in marketing, majoring in customer service. He previously served as Sales Director at hotels such as NH Riviera Cancún, Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa and Now Jade Riviera Cancún Resort; later, he was Sales and Marketing Director at Meliá Nassau Beach, and most recently, Director of Sales and Marketing at Paradisus Cancún Resort.
According to Ramón Hernández, General Manager of BlueBay Hotels, “both professionals have profiles fit for internationalization criteria, excellent profesionalism, leadership and management abilities, and fundamental capabilities to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams that have to work in coordination across all countries in the world where BlueBay Hotels is present”.
