BlueBay Hotels beefs up its management team with four new corporations to strengthen its expansion plan

The new incorporations are focusing on the management of the legal, administrative, and finance departments, and computer and commercial systems (LATAM and Canadá)

BlueBay Hotels, the eighth Spanish hotel chain with international presence and the eleventh biggest by number of rooms, has inducted 4 new professions to manage different areas of the company to reinforce its structure. In the next few weeks, a new operations manager will also be introduced. The growth registered by BlueBay Hotels in the first semester of the fiscal year, and the expansion objectives of the Spanish company considered in the 2017-2020 strategic plan are two of the motives that Blue Bay Hotels took into account in order to effect these additions.

The group's growth this year resulted from their joining new markets as well as strengthening their presence in destinations where they were already established. In addition, the goal of the company to increase their hotel offers by almost 50%, which meant being present in new destinations and providing new beds both owned as well as managed, made it necessary for them to make this commitment clear and firm to boost the group's structure.

According to Jamal Satli Iglesias, president of BlueBay Hotels, "aside from increasing the manpower in various departments, with these new inductions, we are bolstering the management team. They are professionals with excellent backgrounds, and we are convinced that they will bring this know-how, each to their areas of expertise, in order to boost the ambitious future projects of BlueBay Hotels".

Alejandro Roca Soto will assume the mantle of Corporate Finance Officer (CFO) in the offices of BlueBay Hotels in Palma de Mallorca. With his degree in Business from the University of Valencia and MBA from IESE-Business School, Roca Soto has a solid track record in the area of finance and in the international hotel sector.

Diego Martín Ortega will take on the position of Director of Legal Affairs. Based in group's offices in Marbella, he has a Law Degree and vast professional experience gained from his different positions at the most prestigious offices in Spain.

lván Orpí will be inducted as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the head office of BlueBay Hotels in Palma de Mallorca. Orpí has a postgraduate diploma from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya in Design and Implementation of Client/Server Applications. In his new role, he will develop technological solutions that will improve the dynamics among hotels and with the clients.

BlueBay Hotels will also welcome Claudia Pacheco as Business Director (LATAM and Canadá). With a degree in Tourism Planing and Development from the Escuela Superior de Turismo (México) and a Diploma from the Monterrey Technological Institute and Higher Education, she can count on a long profesional career in the tourism sector with special focus on strategical business alliance and new market approach.

According to the eleventh edition of the Hostetur Ranking of Major Hotel Chains.

"At BlueBay Hotels, we like to count on a team of people with the most possible talent. With the professionals that we have incorporated, we seek to strengthen areas and departments in the company that we consider key to guarantee the soundness of our future project.", affirms Ramón Hernández, General Manager of BlueBay Hotels.
