BlueBay Hotels offers 20 jobs to ‘Aquarius’ migrants

BlueBay Hotels, an international company, the eighth largest Spanish hotel chain in terms of international presence and tenth largest regarding the number of rooms , which has 53 hotels around the world (23 in Spain) has offered 20 jobs in Spain to ‘Aquarius’ migrants.


This pioneering initiative in the business world is part of the group's commitment to promoting solidarity, tolerance and cultural integration, by joining the Government’s laudable and exemplary action.


Jamal Satli Iglesias, Chairman of BlueBay Hotels, said: "We hope more companies will implement actions like this one to promote a wave of solidarity that will help in critical situations arising from the migration problems we’re experiencing in Europe”.


BlueBay Hotels is an international Spanish hotel company with hotels in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caribbean, and the integration of different cultures among its employees is a fundamental part of its management model. It currently has 53 hotels with over 6000 employees (15% in Spain) from 100 different nationalities. It operates 23 hotels in Spain divided between the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Andalusia, Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid.


The company has already started the appropriate legal procedures with the relevant authorities to implement this initiative as soon as possible.
