The Hotel Reding Croma by BlueBay (***) is a boutique hotel situated next to Plaza de Catalunya and Las Ramblas that mainly hosts guests visiting the city for tourism (70%) and business travel (30%). Guests are mainly Spanish, followed by Americans, Italians, French and South Koreans.
The hotel has been recently renovated and is designed to suit the needs of business travellers and tourists. Forty-four rooms are spread over five floors and organised by colours and sensations. The hotel also has a special area for company events, a gym, the Croma library, a cafeteria, a restaurant and guest parking.
BlueBay Hotels’ Growth
In terms of the number of destinations on its books, BlueBay Hotels has grown by 145% and the number of hotels is up 80% in just five years. The Spanish group closed 2016 with 43 hotels in 22 destinations and 22,711 beds under its management, meaning an increase of 56% since it started out back in 2011. BlueBay Hotels plans to increase its number of hotels by 50% and more than double the number of beds to 50,000 by 2020.
