If you are staying or planning to stay at BlueBay Lanzarote Hotel soon, we recommend you to visit following places in Costa Teguise (Canary Islands).
Las Cucharas Beach and Los Charcos Beach
Las Cucharas Beach is 640 m. long beach, protected by reefs, is of fine toasted sand and calm waters. It’s one of the preferred places for windsurfers and offers a complete range of services: hammock and sunshade rentals, life saving equipment and easy access for the handicapped.
The Playa Los Charcos is almost joining Puerto del Carmen, it is about 300 m. long and 30 m. wide with fine white sand and calm waters despite the wind. The tranquility of the sea is due to the breakwater which shelters it from the strong waves and currents. There is a docking area and seaside boardwalk.
Charco del Palo and Punta Mujeres
This beach is reached through the village of Mala. The swimming area consists of handmade natural swimming pools which blend in perfectly with their surroundings. The open sea area is ideal for scuba diving.
Punta Mujeres is a small (non tourist) village on the coast in the North of Lanzarote. It is very picturesque. The village has four sea water swimming pools set into the coastline at intervals, these pools are nothing more than rock pools at low tide and great for cooling off and chilling with friends at high tide.
Lagomar
And for the night, the place that you cannot miss is the Cave of Lagomar, on the cliffs of Nazareth, Teguise. Cozy caves made of natural stone, a cool terrace surrounded by lush vegetation, overlooking the tropical pool, amazing spaces in a spectacular location. Lively sounds, from jazz and blues, to soul and fusion, which are lost in the naturist atmosphere of the place.
